It all began in 2003 when Mark Schickedanz took the leap out on his own and started Schickedanz Construction. A Construction Management and General Contracting company.

In time, after years of working in the industry for others; Mark knew his ideals of quality, honesty and passion were different. What initially started as residential remodels with one employee, quickly grew into full ground-up new home construction with a light crew. Building on his reputation for quality and fairness the company pivoted in 2012 and added commercial construction to its portfolio. Currently Schickedanz is just under 20 employees and growing! We continue to be an industry leader with a strong presence throughout the Midwest and when you leverage our services either together or separately, you get an unparalleled experience all under one roof.
